Dear Velindre NHS Trust,
Please can you provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
1) The number of people who have been referred to specialist sleep
clinics within NHS facilities between April 2009 and April 2019?
2) How many of those who have been referred to specialist sleep clinics
within NHS facilities (between April 2009 and April 2019) are prescribed
selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors for mental health conditions?
3) What percentage of those who have have been referred to NHS sleep
clinics in this time frame are prescribed selective serotonin re-uptake
5) How many people were referred for sleep study assessments in
2018 in comparison to 2008 in England?”

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request in relation to sleep clinics within Velindre, which we received on the 20/05/2019
Due to the nature of the services provided by the Trust, as explained below, we do not hold information relating to your request.
Velindre University NHS Trust is a nationally recognised specialist centre of excellence for the provision of non-surgical oncology including radiotherapy and chemotherapy; specialist palliative care; blood transfusion; specialist immunohaematology; antenatal blood testing reference work; and transplant immunology. The Trust provides a range of specialist non-surgical oncology services to approximately 1.5 million people of south east Wales, and to the whole of Wales for some services, working in partnership with the hospitals managed by the Local Health Boards. The Welsh Blood Service collects processes and delivers blood and blood products to hospitals across Wales.
