Number of meals served in schools

Department for Education did not have the information requested.

Dear Department for Education,

Please provide data on the number of meals served in schools in UK.

Please can you provide a break down for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as whole UK figures.

The data should cover all state schools including:

Local authority/Community schools
Foundation/Voluntary schools
Academies
Grammar Schools
SEN schools
State-boarding schools

If possible can the data be broken down to show meals served in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the UK as a whole.

If the DfE does not hold data on certain types of schools, please can you indicate which types of schools your response covers and who would hold the data for the types your response does not cover.

Yours faithfully,
