Number of gradutes on medical and dental courses wrongly offered loans
Dear SAAS,
Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, I kindly request some data from you regarding graduate students on the standard 5 year courses that are also available to school leavers in
1) A100 Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
2) A200 Bachelor of Dental Surgery
By graduates, I mean those students who have completed an Honours degree or higher prior to entry on the respective courses.
What are the exact numbers of graduate students who were wrongly offered Tuition Fee Loans and/or Maintenance Grants by Student Finance England over the past five years (including the current 2012/13 academic year?
For clarification, by this I mean students who have were awarded the abovementioned finances, and then had them withdrawn later on due to their ineligibility.
If at all possible, could this data be broken down into each university and course.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Faisel Alam
