I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I would like to know:

a) the number of EU students enrolled at your University for each academic year 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.

b) if possible - the number of EU students having their tuition fees paid by Student Loans Company each academic year 2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.

If any of this information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it with page reference and URL if necessary.

I would like the above information to be provided to me as electronic copies.

Following your request for information on 8 March 2020 regarding EU
students at the University, please see below for our response. Please
accept our apologies for the delay in responding to you. 

The table below shows the number of EU students who had their tuition fees
paid by Student Loans Company. Please note that this data only includes
students with a EURS SSN Number.

The information regarding the number of EU students enrolled at the
University is available from the Higher Education Statistics Agency
at [1]https://www.hesa.ac.uk. Due to this, the information requested is
exempt from disclosure by virtue of s(2) 21 of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 as the information is accessible by other means. In relation to
data from the 2019/20 academic year, this is likely to be available on the
HESA website in January/February 2021.
