Dear  Mr [Name removed],

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000

Thank you for your emails recieved 06/08/2012. I note that three of your
requests concern the Marketing and Admissions Review. I propose to treat
these as a single request as follows:

Could you please tell me the number of employees reviewed under the
Marketing and Admissions Review that took place in 2011.

Could you please tell me the number of employees provisionally selected
for redundancy under the Marketing and Admissions Review 2011.

Could you please confirm the employment status of Elise Bethancourt in the
External Relations department on the 4th May 2011. By employment status we
mean what type of contract was Elise Bethancourt on, temporary, permanent
or as a consultant?

Please note that in order to enable easy tracking of the response, I will
not issue any further response to the second two queries, but will direct
all correspondence to the first request only. I will deal with your other
request as a separate issue.

Your request is being considered and if the information is held you will
receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of 20
working days as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, subject to
the information not being exempt.

If the time taken to meet your request is likely to exceed 18 hours, we
will contact you and ask you amend your request to bring it below this
time limit. We will assist you with suggestions of how this might be
achieved.

I may also contact you if the request needs to be clarified; this is to
ensure that we provide you with the information you require.

Please note that some information you have requested may not be provided
to you; this will only be information that can be withheld by law.  In
most cases the reasons will be explained to you along with your copy of
any information that can be released to you.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Fraser Marshall,

Many thanks for your kind reply. I note that only two of my requests relate to the Marketing and Admissions Review.

Please note that there is no reference in the request below to the Marketing and Admissions Review and therefore I must ask that this request is dealt with as a separate request:

Could you please confirm the employment status of Elise Bethancourt in the External Relations department on the 4th May 2011. By employment status we mean what type of contract was Elise Bethancourt on, temporary, permanent or as a consultant?

Yours sincerely,
