Number of cases where investigation has exceeded 10 weeks
Dear Judicial Appointments and Conduct Ombudsman,
1.) How many times in the last 3 years have investigations conducted by a JACO caseworker lasted more than 10 weeks? If the cost of providing this information would be so great as to exceed the £600 cost limit, please reduce the scope to 2 years, if still too much, reduce to one year.
2.) what is the longest period a case investigation has lasted?
3.) How many caseworkers are available at any one time to the JACO?
4.) Are caseworkers divided into 2 categories i.e. an intake caseworker who determines whether a complaint justifies an investigation, and if it is so decided, a caseworker who carries out the investigation?
Yours faithfully,
Dudley Jones
