Number of bomb shelters within the Antrim and Newtownabbey District Council area (including Belfast International Airport)
Dear Antrim and Newtownabbey District Council,
With increased geopolitical tensions in the world between the west and major superpowers such as Russia and China, how many bomb shelters (including nuclear bomb shelters) are available in the Antrim and Newtownabbey District Council area for the public to take shelter in, including at Belfast International Airport? In the unlikely event that a Third World War were to break out, Belfast International Airport would become a major target for nuclear weapons.
Yours faithfully,
Jonathan Rainey
