Number of accidents just after J20 on the M5 Northbound

The request was successful.

Dear Highways Agency,

My query regards the M5 northbound just after J20 (Clevedon) where the 4th lane merges into three at the top of the hill.

Please can you tell me how many accidents there have been at this point since the extra lane was added. (I believe it was added in the summer of 2006, so nearly 7 years).

How does this compare to the same period (nearly 7 years) before the extra lane was added (so 1999 - 2006)

Yours faithfully,

Tim Walsh
