Non-UK & Ireland staff earning below £36k p/a

We're waiting for K Nixon to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Ulster University,

I wish to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act,

Recently the UK Home Secretary, Priti Patel, proposed that any migrants to the UK will need to earn at least £36,000 per annum (after Brexit).

I wish to know how this would or could affect Ulster University.

Please provide information on the number of staff (and levels of staff, eg Professors, Lecturers, Researchers, Technicians, etc, if appropriate/possible) earning below this threshold of £36,000 p/a.

If possible, please can you break the information out into faculties or schools, so as to indicate which areas/fields of Ulster University may be most affected by such a policy change.

Furthermore, can you provide the mean salary of Ulster University employees, and the total number of employees of Ulster University.

Thank you for your time.

Yours faithfully,

K Nixon

foi, Ulster University
