Dear Sir/Madam

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REF: 2016-1579

I am responding to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000,
which we received on 22 December 2016, for information held by the
Council. You requested:

Non-Jew and Jewish - Heads of Revenues and Benefits, Solictors, Insolvency
Practitioners, Trustees etc

Under the freedom of information act please state how many of the above
staff employed by the council are or have been employed to carry out work,
are not of the Jewish faith (list faiths) and how many are Jews.

Please provide all recorded information both past and present.

Please also confirm if any work is instructed through Jewish or non-Jew
solicitors firms both in-house and contracted out.

And confirm if any Jewish or non-Jew Official Receivers etc have been
involved with any of the council's insolvency work or if Insolvency
Practitioners or Trustees have been chosen by the council or your
solicitors on behalf of the council have been Jewish or non-Jews.

In relation to Council staff, we changed our HR system 2 years ago and
there is no information on religious beliefs remaining from the old
system. In our current HR system, it is not compulsory to provide this
information and HR have advised that very few staff do provide it.
Therefore we cannot state how many staff are of the Jewish faith who work
for the Council.

We do not record information on the religious beliefs of external
individuals and companies so we don’t hold this information.

Complaints

I trust this has satisfied your request. Should you be unhappy with the
handling of your request, the Council has an internal complaints process
for handling FOIA complaints. Complaints are reviewed by the Chief
Solicitor and Monitoring Officer or her nominee. A form is available from
our website to lodge your complaint
[1]http://www.rbkc.gov.uk/councilanddemocra...
Please contact us if you do not have website access and we can provide you
with a copy of the form. Following this review, should you still be
unhappy with how your information request has been handled, you have a
further right to appeal to the Information Commissioner who is responsible
for ensuring compliance with FOIA.

Yours faithfully
