5) Interview scores for all non-IB Canadian PPE applicants (please specify which applicants have been accepted/deferred entry)
6) Average grade 11 and 12 marks for all non-IB Canadian PPE applicants (please specify which applicants have been shortlisted/accepted/deferred entry)

Dear Alice

Thank you for your request.

Can you please confirm for what year/s of entry you require this information for?

Your request will be placed on hold until we receive this clarification.

Kind regards

Danny

Dear GLPD.Info.Rights,

I would like to receive the previously requested information for the 2018 and 2019 PPE cycles.

Also to clarify in case of any further confusion, by Canadian student, I mean Canadian domiciled student.

And for point 6, to define what average grade 11 and 12 marks are, since the equivalent to GCSE/A level marks in Canada which are not under the IB system is a percentage out of 100 (0-100%). The transcript sent in by non-IB Canadian domiciled applicants is a list of marks out of 100 with the corresponding course code next to each mark, course codes with the #3 indicate a grade 11 course (e.x. ENG3U1) and course codes with the #4 indicate a grade 12 course (e.x. SPH4U), please send me the individual average percentage marks of the grade 11 and 12 courses of every non-IB Canadian applicant for the cycle of 2018 and 2019. Here is an example of what I am looking for in point 6 displayed in a spreadsheet (as long as I get the same type of information, format does not matter to me).

2018
Applicant 1
Grade 11 - 94.7
Grade 12 - 93.2

Yours sincerely,

Alice Jjiang

Dear GLPD.Info.Rights,

By law, I should have received my requested information promptly and no longer than past the statutory date of September 20th, which has past. I am here to remind you to please promptly provide the information I’ve previously requested.

Yours sincerely,

Alice Jjiang

Dear Alice,

With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, please find below the information you requested. I apologise for the late response and hope this has not inconvenienced you.

1) Number of non-IB Canadian PPE applicants

30

2) Number of short-listed non-IB Canadian PPE applicants

LSE does not operate a system of 'short-listing'. The answer therefore is 'None'.

3) Number of accepted or deferred entry non-IB Canadian PPE applicants

4

4) TSA section 1 and section 2 scores for all non-IB Canadian PPE applicants (please specify which applicants have been shortlisted/accepted/deferred entry)

LSE does not ask for the TSA as an entry requirement. The answer therefore is 'Data not held'.

5) Interview scores for all non-IB Canadian PPE applicants (please specify which applicants have been accepted/deferred entry)

LSE does not conduct interviews for any programme. The answer therefore is 'Data not held'.

6) Average grade 11 and 12 marks for all non-IB Canadian PPE applicants (please specify which applicants have been shortlisted/accepted/deferred entry)

We are unable to answer this as we do not hold the course codes to be able to identify which grades they are.

If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact me on 020 7849 4622 or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office http://www.ico.gov.uk/, though they expect the internal review to be carried out before receiving a complaint directly.
