NHSP Nurse Bank

We're waiting for Fiona Stubbs to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear NHS England,
please could you assist or direct me to the most appropriate person re NHSP .
I have worked as a clinician in mental health for 44 years in the NHS . I retired2017 from my posts of Nurse Operations Manager Health and Justice . I joined NWBH Trust 2019 and am contracted to work for them in the role of Senior Nurse Greater Manchester Tactical Advice Service working directly with GMP .
I applied to join NHSP bank recently , I have undergone all their checks but today received notice that I have failed the Occupational Health check as I cannot provide evidence of vaccinations I have had in my life . I’m nearly 60 years old .
My GP has 2 records 1961/1962 , I’m told it’s likely my vaccinations were in paper format and not transferred .
The on site occupational health dept went private sometime in the 90s and they say they do not have my records .
I have wrote to BuryPublic Health who inform they do not have records , the Director sent an email saying I would not have been working in the nhs if I had not had all my vaccinations , and some like Hep B were done at local hospitals .
Given that I applied to help out during the COVID period to help out I find it ludicrous to have received the email .
The health interview I was subjected to on the phone was appalling , I could hardly hear the lady as she told me she was working from home and had the Plummer in right next to her whilst tying to discuss my health !
Clearly I am very dissatisfied with NHSP and hope that someone can advise or sort the issue out

Yours faithfully,
Fiona Stubbs

CONTACTUS, England (NHS ENGLAND & NHS IMPROVEMENT - X24), NHS England

**THIS IS AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE**

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your email. We are currently receiving a higher than usual
volume of emails so it may take us a little longer to respond directly to
your email. In the meantime, you may find the following information
helpful.

Please note: our normal working hours are 08:00 to 18:00 from Monday to
Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Emails received at the weekend will not
be reviewed until the next working day.
How can the Customer Contact Centre help me?
NHS England commissions or buys primary care services; for example, GPs,
dentists, opticians, and pharmacy services. We are also responsible for
prison healthcare, military health services, and some specialised
services. We can provide advice about accessing, giving feedback or making
a complaint about these services.
You may be able to find the answer you are looking for in our Frequently
Asked Questions<https://www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/ho...>
and our website explains how to share feedback or make a
complaint.[1]https://www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/co...
What if I have an enquiry or complaint about hospital care, NHS 111 or
out-of-hours GP services?
If your enquiry or complaint is about secondary care, this includes
hospitals, NHS 111, mental health services, out-of-hours services and
community services such as district nursing, you will need to contact the
organisation that provided the service. All hospitals have a Patient
Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)
[2]https://www.nhs.uk/common-health-questio...
. Alternatively, you can contact your local Clinical Commissioning Group
(CCG). You can find their contact details on the NHS
website[3]https://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Clinic...
Does the NHS England Customer Contact Centre provide medical advice?
No. Our advisors are not clinically trained and are unable to provide
medical advice. If you require emergency medical attention, dial 999 or
attend your local Accident and Emergency department if you are able to do
so.
If you require non-urgent medical advice please contact your GP, local
walk-in or urgent healthcare centre, or call NHS 111. Calls are free from
landlines and mobile phones.

How do I report a change of name or address?
You should report a change of name or address to your GP practice so they
can update their records. If your new address is outside the practice’s
catchment area you may be asked to register with a new GP practice.
You should also advise your dentist or optician of a change of name or
address as they keep their own records.

Where can I find further information about NHS England?
You can find information about NHS England and our work on our
website[4]https://www.england.nhs.uk/about/
How do you use my information?
NHS England’s privacy notice explains how we use, share and store your
personal information. You can find this on our
website.[5]https://www.england.nhs.uk/contact-us/pr...

NHSE Customer Contact Centre, NHS England

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Fiona

Thank you for contacting the NHS England Customer Contact Centre.

NHS England commissions or buys primary care services. For example GPs,
dentists, opticians, and pharmacy services. We also commission health and
justice, military health services plus some specialised services.
The NHS England Customer Contact Centre is primarily set up to handle
general enquiries, complaints & Freedom of Information requests from
members of the public regarding primary care services.

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to ask for a copy of the
information an organisation holds about you. This is known as a subject
access request (SAR).  A request for information from medical records
(health records) has to be made to the appropriate data controller, that
is the service that holds the information.

If you are currently registered with a GP practice you will need to make
your request directly to the practice as they are data controllers in
their own right.

If you are no longer registered with the a GP practice or you are
requesting the records of an individual who is deceased then the medical
records would be held by Primary Care Support England (PCSE) on behalf of
NHS England. In this instance you will need to submit a records request
to PCSE.

You can find the application form and details of where to send your
request on the [1]PCSE website.

For childhood immunisations given from 2002 onwards, the IT systems used
by GP practices should include details of immunisation given.
Immunisations given prior to 2002 may not be held within your records
because prior to 2002, there was no 'central record' of childhood
immunisations - so unless you hold a copy of your personal child heath
record (also known as the ‘red book’ – this is given to parents shortly
after a baby is born), it is unlikely that you will be able to obtain a
record of your immunisations. If you have any concerns about this, or
require further information, you may wish to contact Public Health
England:

Telephone: 020 7654 8000
Email: [2][email address]

You can find more information about accessing health records on the NHS
website in the following link:

[3]https://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/thenhs/rec...

In this instance, I would suggest that you raise your concerns with NHS
Professionals:

https://www.nhsprofessionals.nhs.uk/

If you require any further information or wish to speak to someone about
your enquiry, please contact NHS England at the email address or telephone
number shown below.  We also have a Web Chat facility that operates
between 09:00 and 16:45 Monday to Friday, this can be accessed at:
