Nature of Operation of University of Southampton

Waiting for an internal review by University of Southampton of their handling of this request.

Dear University of Southampton,

I am submitting a freedom of information request as per the Freedom of Information Act 2000 Chapter 36, regarding the operation and function of the Royal Chartered Company (Company no: RC000668).

After publicly searching company information databases online, it would seem that the corporation is not listed, at least not accessible to the generally curious Human. Thus, I have a few questions I would like to direct your way.

Question 1.
What is the nature of the company, registered as University of Southampton? (Royal Chartered, Company Type)

Question 2.
What is the incorporation date?

Question 3.
Is there a law preventing you (as an RC) publishing your financial accounts publicly? Are you not obligated to do so?

Question 4.
Does the University of Southampton have any directors? How many, and who are they?

Question 5.
Does the University of Southampton have any subsidiaries? How many, and what are the names?

Question 6.
What is the connection between University of Southampton Holdings Limited, 02331936 and Univeristy of Southampton, RC000668?

Question 7.
As a Royal Charter, are your operations under direct control of the UK Monarchy (Privy Council - Uk Parliament)? Does this have any implications on "subjects" seeking an unbiased, uncensored, higher-education?

Yours faithfully,

treynon
