Dear Care Quality Commission,

I have seen a recent job advert by NAS community services Hertfordshire for support workers stated that “Most of the services we provide are based in Hemel Hempstead where we support 4 autistic adults 24 hours a day, 7 days a week”

Given that obviously any autistic adult who requires such a level of care and support made by some be considered vulnerable if:

1. they do not appear to have a registered manager for over six months. It is a matter of concern for the quality care quality commission and if so, what actions have been taken for this to be rectified.

2. Entry entry in the CQC register is outdated with them having relocated at least a month ago and contact number does not connect, is not an obligation to NAS community services Hertfordshire to ensure that their recorded information is kept up-to-date and correct.

3. The last inspection was on 2 May 2019, when is their next inspection due.

Yours faithfully,

Kurr Kidman
