Dear South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),

South Eastern HSC Trust was recently included on a "Rogue Employers List" for its failure to pay the statutory minimum wage. The listing indicated arrears of £7,564 to 193 workers.

Please confirm (a) the amounts paid back to the 193 workers concerned, (b) the fines imposed and paid by the Trust in respect of the £7,564 arrears of pay and (c)the date(s) of receipt and payment of fine demands?

In addition please provide a copy of all communications received from the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) indicating the Trust was to be included on a forthcoming Naming and Shaming List.

For your information I have included 2 links:

Dear Information Governance,

My information request refers.

Whilst appreciating pressures arising as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic I would nonetheless question the delay, beyond the 20 working day limit set out by statute, particularly bearing in mind the specific time-limited scope of my request.

Whilst I await the Trust's responses I have taken the liberty of seeking relevant information from the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

Yours sincerely,

Ed Ward-Robb

Dear Information Governance,

My FoI request of 15 January 2021 refers.

At that time I submitted similar request to all 6 of the HSC NI Bodies named and shamed as "Rogue Employers" on a list published by the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). As of this morning responses have been received from 5 of 6 of those Public Bodies.

An FoI response has also now been received from the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

Can I once again invite you to provide the Trust's delayed responses to my original FoI request. Alternatively you may care to explain why other HSCNI bodies have had no difficulty in responding and have not sought to use the "Covid Pandemic" as a reason to avoid a statutory obligation.

Yours sincerely,

Ed Ward-Robb
