Dear Elvis, you have a handsome name, although being GMC-related it may be better not to use your true name given their bad practices - however a true name is not a stipulation of the FOIA. To quote "FOI is applicant blind and so the identity of the requestor should not be an issue. There are 23 exemptions under Part 2 of the Act, which can be relied upon if there is a problem in disclosing the requested information. A public authority cannot and should not ask who is making the request. There are exceptions to this general rule of course." Under English law as the MPTS is based in England, 'S. Elvis' is an acceptable name.

The GMC/MPTS do not like providing information given the need to maintain public perception of the medical profession where they falsely believe they as a majority group of non-medics/paper pushers, are the medical profession.

If it helps the information you seek may be on the GMC data explorer and also 2020 SOMEP tables (2017-19) download link: https://www.gmc-uk.org/-/media/documents...

I know this from my request https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n...
