Move 51 North: Failure to meet funding requirements

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Peoples Information Center

Dear Homes for Haringey,

This FOI request relates to the agency Move 51 Degrees North.

I write in reference to the Mazars report into Move 51 Degrees North dated 26 August 2016. At paragraph 2.4.6 it states that

Up until 31 March 2016, Move 51 was funded by Haringey Council. However, from 1 April
2016, Move 51 was funded by Homes for Haringey. We understand that this change of
funding was due to Move 51 falling short of Haringey Council’s funding requirements.

Please explain what funding requirements Move 51 was unable to fulfill.

Yours faithfully,

Ranjan Balakumaran

Dear Mr Balakumaran,

Freedom of Information Act Request

Thank you for your email dated 28 January 2018 regarding a change in
funding of Move 51.

There were no specific funding requirements set by the Council other than
an expectation that Move 51 would generate profits in future years. Homes
for Haringey began to support Move 51 from 1 April 2016 and were
reimbursed in full by Haringey Council at year-end (31 March 2017).
