We strive to be transparent and to work with an open culture.  But at this
time, whilst care of our patients and the safety of our staff takes
precedent, it is likely that responses to some requests for information

Dear Barnsley hospital NHS foundation trust,
A public body requiring a resubmission of the original request before answering the request is not catered for in the FOIA and the ICO guidance confirms this.
Your response is well overdue, I would like an internal review please. 20 working days are permitted for an internal review. This response will be submitted to the ICO in due course.
My original request is listed here:

Dear Requester,

Please accept our apologies for the delay in to your request.  I have
investigated as to why your original request was not responded to on
time.  This was due to a technical issue resulting in the request being
closed of which we have now changed our processes to ensure this will not
happen going forward. Please see our response to your request below.

I can confirm that the Trust does hold some of the information you have
requested.

Thank you for your request for information, details of which are below:

Freedom of Information Request

6

Please advise how many of in point 2 above had no other comorbidity.

Information not held

Please advise what procedures have been put in place for infection control
and when they were put in place.

We initially followed PHE guidance – unfortunately all their published
guidance is archived but this link does evidence the guidance

[1]https://www.health.org.uk/news-and-comme...

Because guidance was changing rapidly initially we opted to follow these
guidelines we then had a policy ratified in August 2020 which has been
regularly updated. Please see attached the latest policy.

This completes the Trust’s response to your request.

As part of our on-going evaluation, we ask that you complete a
satisfaction survey found at the link below. This helps us to identify
areas of improvement and to highlight good practice to share with other
teams. [2]https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/L3HLQV3
