More questions about the New Routemaster bus

I have more questions in regards to your New Routemaster project.
1. What are the upcoming routes to be converted to (existing) New Routemaster buses?
2. What New Routemaster routes will be reverted back to conventional buses?
3. When is the New Routemaster buses going to have their batteries replaced?
4. Did TfL upgrade all the New Routemaster hybrids to Euro 6 to comply with the ULEZ?
5. When is the existing fleet of New Routemaster buses going to be refurbished?
6. Did TfL change the boarding of all the New Routemaster routes to front door entry only?
7. Can you provide the latest customer satisfaction of the New Routemaster bus?
8. Are there any future plans with the existing New Routemaster buses?

Thank you for your request received on 11 September 2019 asking for
information about New Routemaster buses.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our Information Access Policy. I can
confirm we do the information you requested. You asked:
1. What are the upcoming routes to be converted to (existing) New
Routemaster buses?
It is proposed to convert the Route 19 to the New Routemaster bus.
2. What New Routemaster routes will be reverted back to conventional
buses?
We do not have plans to convert routes back to conventional buses.
3. When is the New Routemaster buses going to have their batteries
replaced?
Batteries are replaced as they fail in service or as they reach
approximately 5 years of age as part of a Battery Replacement Campaign.
4. Did TfL upgrade all the New Routemaster hybrids to Euro 6 to comply
with the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)?
All New Routemasters are Euro 6 compliant.
5. When is the existing fleet of New Routemaster buses going to be
refurbished?
The New Routemasters are planned to have a mid-life refurbishment starting
in May 2020.
6. Did TfL change the boarding of all the New Routemaster routes to front
door entry only?
There is a Pilot project on Front Door only Boarding on New Routemasters
being undertaken on Route 8 which commenced on 9^th August 2019.
7. Can you provide the latest customer satisfaction of the New Routemaster
bus?
We do not report Customer Satisfaction Data by individual vehicle type.
8. Are there any future plans with the existing New Routemaster buses?
The Mid-Life Refurbishment of New Routemasters is being planned. There are
no further plans at the present time.
