Monitoring officer's report re Cllr Leo Pollak
Dear Southwark Borough Council,
On February 17th in an official statement Southwark council announced that Cllr Leo Pollak has resigned from his post as Southwark council’s cabinet member for housing. The statement said: “The monitoring officer will carry out a full investigation before reporting her findings publicly.”
Has the report been completed please?
If so, please could your provide a copy?
If not, why is the report taking so long to complete?
Many thanks
Jerry Green

Southwark council’s response to this FOI request includes the following:
“We can confirm that whilst a draft report has been produced by the council’s Monitoring Officer, the Investigating Officer is still in the process of considering
representations and the report still needs to be finalised.
“Hence, we do not believe that releasing the report in its current format, when it is likely to be subject to further revision, would be in the public interest.
“Furthermore, we believe it is in the interest of the wider public for the report to be accessed simultaneously by the general public rather than by disclosure to a small number of individuals under the FOIA.”
