Monitoring of emissions from Javelin Park incinerator

Roedd y cais yn rhannol lwyddiannus.

Dear Gloucestershire County Council,

I understand that Incinerators have a potential to emit substances such as dioxins which present health hazards if the rubbish is not incinerated at a high enough temperature. I believe that there are requirements in the agreements regarding this; however I have reviewed the disclosures for the incinerator but can not find full details thus:-

1. Please provide a copy of the current arrangements for the operator(s) of the incinerator to monitor and publish:-
a) the actual operating temperature of the incinerator
b) the composition of flue gas emissions

2. Please also publish details of the auditing / monitoring which the County Council plans to undertake to ensure that the operator(s) of the incinerator carry out and report accurately and on time the arrangements in (1) above.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Kingston

Dear Gloucestershire County Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Gloucestershire County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Monitoring of emissions from Javelin Park incinerator'.

Thank you for the information provided in response to point 1 of my request. I believe the response is incomplete as I cannot see anything specific has been provided in response to point 2.
I am thus requesting an internal review of the authority's response

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...
