Money spent in the NHS as a direct result of Brexit

The request was successful.

To the minister or Secretary of State, with responsibility for health and social care:

By the time this question will be answered, the United Kingdom will have not been a member of the European Union for 31 days, which means based on the statement by the Prime Minister on a number of occasions in 2016, there will have been an extra £1.550 billion available for the National Health Service (enough to fund an extra 1,373 nurses for a complete financial year) therefore I would like to request a breakdown of how much money has been ploughed into the NHS since January 31st 2020 until the date that this request must be answered by, in all the nations and regions of the United Kingdom and what that money has been earmarked for.

Yours faithfully,

Harry Hayfield
