Dear FOI at St Andrews,

Please provide the following information:

The average grades achieved in each and every module for the years 2012/13, 2013/14, 2014/15, and 2015/16 in the following subjects:

Biology

Anthropology

Please also provide a full breakdown of the number of students achieving a 1st, 2:1, 2:2, 3rd, and failure respectively in each and every module for the subjects listed above and the respective tutors/professors that were head of each module for each and every module.

Please also provide information regarding assessment of marking at St Andrews:

Is the university in any way assessed regarding its marking (ie. is marking fair?, are the correct marks being awarded to students?, assessing regularity of marks given between modules and markers?) by a governing body outside of the university?

Is there any internal body that assesses marking for marking fairness and consistency between tutors and markers at st Andrews?

Has marking consistency between modules (for any subject) been discussed in any meetings (that you have on record) at St Andrews. If so, please provide all information you have regarding this topic including minutes. Are there any meetings where any member of university staff has acknowledged the disparity between markers in a subject? Again, please provide any information regarding this topic including minutes. Has a tutor or marker ever been reprimanded for unfair marking or incorrect marking in any subject at the university in the last 3 years. If so, please provide as many details as you can legally provide regarding: subject, module, date, and actions taken by the university as a result of unfair marking.

I understand that some of the information has previously been given in previous FOI requests. Therefore, I understand if you want to exclude this information in your response to this FOI request.

Thank you for your time.

Yours faithfully,

S.H Crozier
