Minutes of meetings between the Council and the Worcester Allotments Forum

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Worcester City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Worcester City Council,
Please provide copies of the full minutes of all meetings with the Worcester Allotments Forum covering both the Executive Committee meetings, as well of those with the Full or General Forum Committee.
This request includes all face-to-face meetings, as well as those held on-line, and via 'Zoom', during the period from the 11th April 2018 to the current date - 17th July 2020.

Yours faithfully,
CWT Thorp

Dear Worcester City Council,
I submitted an FOI Request on the 17th July 2020, which was due, under the law, for a response by the 14th August. None was received by that date.

I have born in mind the current Covid-19 circumstances effecting us all, and have waited what is now virtually another 3 weeks for this information, but have heard nothing at all from you.

I'd be grateful if you would now attend to this request and forward me the requested information without any further delay.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Thorp

Dear Worcester City Council,
Will you please confirm by return email that you have received my FOI Request. Though your systems appear to advise that you have done so, a direct personal confirmation would be appreciated.

Also please advise when you are going to respond.

By law, public authorities must respond “promptly” to requests, and that in any case you must respond within 20 working days. This is long past, my Request having been made on 17th July 2020, almost a full two months ago.

All I am getting from your system is 'Delayed'. I have borne in mind the current prevailing circumstances with considerable patience, but I'm sure you'll understand further delay is no longer acceptable.

I expect to hear from you by the end of this week - Friday 18th September 2020.

If I do not then I'll be seeking an internal review.

Should that fail to be forthcoming, or unsatisfactory I reserve the right to complain to the Information Commissioner about your failure to respond to this FOI Request.

Yours faithfully,
Chris Thorp

Dear Worcester City Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Worcester City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Minutes of meetings between the Council and the Worcester Allotments Forum'.

The law states that you must respond within 20 working days, and if you do not then you are breaking the law. You have NOT done so.

I had no response, not even an acknowledgement of my FOI of the 17th July 2020.

In addition I've had no response to either of my follow-up emails of the 3rd and 15th September 2020.

I am now, on 6th October 2020, formally asking for an Internal Review, which if not forthcoming by the 20th October 2020, I'll have no option but to complain to the Information Commissioner about your failures to provide the requested information in a timely manner.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,
Chris Thorp

Dear Worcester City Council,
Thank you for this message, which I believe results from my previous 3 messages to you having been unblocked and released from being treated as Spam - along with other FOI enquiries lodged with you via WDTK.

Meanwhile I understand from others in the Council that this FOI enquiry is currently being attended to, at last, and I look forward to receiving the results in the near future.

Whilst WDTK have been very helpful I have now discovered that the Council have their own facility for lodging FOI enquiries, which I'll most likely use in the future.

Yours faithfully,

Chris Thorp
