Response:. Costs don’t just sit in a MINT cost centre, they sit there and
in a number of other places.

Unfortunately the Trust does not hold the information in the form you have
requested and the costs for MINT are held across a range of cost centres.

In order to collate and review this information, the cost of compliance
for this part of your request will exceed the appropriate limit. The
appropriate limit for the NHS is £450 (based on £25 per person per hour to
locate and extract the requested data. This represents the estimated cost
of one person spending more than 18 hours as we have established that
providing this information would require a manual audit of relevant
records to be carried out. Therefore, the Trust considers the information
to be exempt under section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act.

What we do have is the spend info we’ve shared with NHSE which largely
answers the question, so as follows:

For the period 20/21 up to end of January

Total spend £1.9m

Of which:

Non-pay - £125k

Non-clinical - £373k (project management, informatics, comms support,
admin)

Clinical staff - £1,443k – there is not medical staffing in the MINT
model, so not any new medical costs associated with it. Clinical staff
spend is on psychologists, nursing, OT and social workers.

Dear West London FOI Team,

SUBJECT-- REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION

Please could you clarify what is meant by the following statement in your response?

"Costs don’t just sit in a MINT cost centre, they sit there and
in a number of other places."

Thank you for your limited response.

Could you at least clarify how much has been spent on the salaries of management consultants ( employed for implementation of MINT model) till date ?

Yours sincerely,

Dr Amit Mukherjee

Dear West London NHS Trust,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of West London NHS Trust's handling of my FOI request 'MINT model spending' in regards to their response of 7th May 2021.

I note that you have included the time required for administering this request, ie considering the exemption or redacting parts of the information, in your calculation. ICO advice indicates that this activity does not fall within the list of activities which are permitted to be included (see https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...).

For this reason I believe the exemption is invalid, and request that you review your response.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...
