Dear Attorney General’s Office,

Under FOIA 2000 I am requesting details of;

1. The cost/s to the taxpayer concerning legal action in the 'Amir' case, i.e. MI5 agent launches legal action against the government; http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/d...

The 'Amir' case was reported extensively in the media at that time, here are some further reports;

It was reported in the Telegraph that; "The disaffected spy has now has hired the London lawyers, Bindmans, which has a reputation as one of the country's leading human rights firms, to fight his case, thought to be the first of its kind.", http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/d...

2. If the above case has been settled out of court or if the case is still being dealt with. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not requesting information that relates to any confidential agreement and/or settlement that may have been reached between the parties.

I have also sent this request to the Home Office in the event that it is they who are responsible for above case.
