Mental Health Units

The request was refused by Metropolitan Police Service (MPS).

Dear Metropolitan Police Service (MPS),

How many reports of rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment, or other forms of sexual misconduct have been recorded in Mental Health in-patient units over the past five years? (1st December 2016- 30th November 2021)

For each case please include the date the report was received, the crime-type and the outcome - e.g. whether an arrest, charge or no action taken. If possible, please state whether the accused was a member of staff or patient.

If it's not possible to release the exact date, please progress with the request without that detail included.

Yours faithfully,

Rachael Venables

Metropolitan Police Service (MPS)
