Medicine A100

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear King’s College London,

Please can you provide me with the following for the A100 5 year Medicine undergraduate course:

1. How are GCSE used when assessing an application, and whether or not deciding whether to invite to interview?
2. How are A-Level predictions used when assessing an application, and whether or not deciding whether to invite to interview?
3.How is the UKCAT, including SJT, score used when assessing an application, and whether or not deciding whether to invite to interview?
4. How is an application weighted post-interview in terms of the UKCAT score, SJT component of the UKCAT and the interview score? Or is the interview score alone what decides whether an applicants gets an offer?
5. How many applicants received an interview with 4A* or less at GCSE, and what was their average UKCAT score, and how many of them received offers, for 2018 entry?
6. How many applicants invited for interview in 2018 entry, and how many received offers?

If an applicant has achieved an early A-Level in year 12, at grade A or above, and will be sitting 3 A-Levels at the end of year 13, and gets an offer, will the conditions of the offer be A*AA in the 3 A-Levels sat in year 13, or will the A grade in the year 12 subject fulfill part of the offer?

Yours faithfully,

Patrick Holmes
