Dear Gavin Loader,

Freedom of Information Request – FOI-18-436

I write in response to your request for information, which was received on
21/03/2018, and has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act
2000 (“the Act”).

I can confirm that we do hold the information requested. However, we have
decided to rely on Section 12(1) of the Act – Cost of compliance exceeds
appropriate limit.

This is because the cost of disclosing the information requested would
exceed the “appropriate limit” as stated in the Freedom of Information
(Fees and Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004. The appropriate limit is
currently £450, based on 18 hours staff time charged at a rate of £25 per
hour.

This information is not centrally recorded and therefore we would have to
request this information from every member of staff which would take over
the 18 hours to collate.

In accordance with Section 17 of the Act, this email is intended to act as
a refusal notice.

If you would like to amend your request to come within the appropriate
limit, you can do so by clarifying which departments you require the
information for or which specific subscriptions you are interested in.

Should you be unhappy with the way your request has been handled you can
ask for an internal review by emailing: [email address].
The Senior Information Governance Officer will then arrange a review of
your case.

If you are not happy with the outcome of the internal review, you have the
right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.
For more information, please visit: www.ico.org.uk.

If you have any further queries, please email
[email address] and quote the above reference number.

Yours sincerely

Emily Henderson, Information Governance Officer
