Dear South-Eastern Education and Library Board (Northern Ireland),

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of South-Eastern Education and Library Board (Northern Ireland)'s handling of my FOI request 'Media requests ASD'.

I believe the SEELB do hold the information in relation to this FOI request but are refusing to provide it. Also SEELB made no attempt to provide reasonable advice and assistance with this request.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m...

Yours faithfully,

Leon Marsh

Dear Alberta Park,

Evidence to be used as part of the internal review .

Please see news article taken from the County-Down Spectator dated March 9, 2015,"Brave Kirstie (15) banned from school – for autism"
http://countydownspectator.com/brave-kir...

"The Spectator contacted the SEELB offering them the chance to provide an explanation for Kirstie’s situation. A spokeswoman replied that it’s their policy not to comment on individual cases".

Yours sincerely,

Leon Marsh

Dear Alberta Park,

Dear Mr Marsh

Re: RFI/1171 Mr Leon Marsh - Media Requests ASD

Following a meeting of the South Eastern Education and Library Board
(SEELB) Internal Review Panel on 5 March 2015, the Panel, having assessed
your request for information and its response to you, has agreed to uphold
its original decision that it has received no media enquires requesting
comment or interview with an SEELB representative during 2014 regarding
the provision of Autism/ASD service.

The article cited by you and included in the panel review meeting, focused
on the educational provision for a specific child.

It is Board policy not to comment on individual cases.

Yours sincerely
