Maternity Continuity of Carer Action Plan

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust,

Under the Freedom of Information Act, I am writing to request a copy of the action plan for the local implementation of maternity continuity of carer. This action plan - according to the guidance offered in relation to safety action 9 of this year's NHS Resolution Maternity Incentive Scheme (see https://resolution.nhs.uk/wp-content/upl... ) - was to be shared with local Board safety champions no later than Friday 28 February 2020.

I would also like to know (a) what arrangements will be made for the Board to oversee progress against this plan on a minimum of a monthly basis, as specified in the NHS Resolution's technical guidance, and (b) what local mechanisms are in place to allow for the ongoing transparency and scrutiny of, and public involvement in, this area of Trust activity.

Yours faithfully,
