Dear Mr Lloyd,

Ref CRN00240075 / FS50884930

Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your
request dated 6 August 2019. We were in the process of moving our
information requests to a new case management system in July and August
and unfortunately your request was overlooked. Our new case management
system is now in operation and this should not happen in future.

In your email you requested the following information:

I wish to see any and all the information supplied to BBC Radio Bristol
regarding the Cumberland Basin redevelopment. As referred to in this
tweet:

I have considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
(‘FOI Act’).

I confirm that we hold information related to your request. We have
conducted a full IT search for emails sent to BBC Radio Bristol that
contain “Cumberland Basin” and / or “Western Harbour” which identified a
number of emails and these are attached.

Please be advised that names and contact details of Council officers and
third parties have been redacted as we consider this to be personal data
that falls to be exempt under Section 40(2) of the FOI Act for personal
data. Section 40(2) exempts information from disclosure where it is
personal data of someone other than you and disclosure would put us in
breach of the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General
Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with which we are obliged to comply.

As you may be aware, the Council published information on three possible
options for the Western Harbour on 19 August 2019 and asked for feedback,
more information is available here:

The early engagement process closed on 15 September 2019 and further
information and the responses were discussed at the Cabinet meeting on 5
November 2019. This information can be found on the Council’s website
here:

Please see item 9.

We have provided a copy of this response to the ICO in relation to your
complaint. If you’re still not satisfied with our response, you should
take this up directly with the ICO.
