Dear London School of Economics,
I originally requested "Please can you provide the total number of applicants with 8+ grade 9's at GCSE and 4A*s+ predicted grade at A-Level, who also took Further Maths at A-Level for 2020 entry? In addition, to this information could you please state the number of these applicants who received an offer for 2020 entry?", and was provided with the data for students with above 4A*s predicted (0 students).
I wanted to clarify and ask for the number of home (UK) applicants with 8 or more grade 9's at GCSE and 4 or more A*s predicted at A-Level, who also took Further Maths at A-Level for 2020 entry? In addition to this, could you please state the number of these applicants who received an offer for 2020 entry?
Thank you for your email. As you will appreciate, information requests
place additional demands on the School in terms of costs and staff time.
At present we are having to prioritise our finite resources in order to
meet the unprecedented challenges we are facing during the Coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic. As such, we need to advise you that while we will
continue to process individual requests, you may experience some delay in
our response during the current pandemic.
As the answer provided to your previous request was 0 for home and overseas students, the answer to both your questions for this request will also be 0. As such, we are treating this as a repeated request under Section 14(2) of the Freedom of Information Act.
