Dear London School of Economics,
Please can you provide the total number of applicants with 8+ grade 9's at GCSE and 4A*s+ predicted grade at A-Level, who also took Further Maths at A-Level for 2020 entry? In addition, to this information could you please state the number of these applicants who received an offer for 2020 entry?
Thank you for your email. As you will appreciate, information requests
place additional demands on the School in terms of costs and staff time.
At present we are having to prioritise our finite resources in order to
meet the unprecedented challenges we are facing during the Coronavirus
(COVID-19) pandemic. As such, we need to advise you that while we will
continue to process individual requests, you may experience some delay in
our response during the current pandemic.
I have had a request for clarification from colleagues regarding your request. Can you please confirm the following:
Is this for Home/Overseas students or both?
Is this only for BSc Economics?
That the request only applies to students presenting with GCSEs and A-Levels.
Once we have had your confirmation, we will be able to proceed with processing your request.

With reference to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act, please find below the information you requested.
Taking this as over 8 grade 9s at GCSE and over 4 A*s at A level and who took Further Maths at A-Level - for home and overseas students this number is 0. Therefore there were no offer holders with these grades.
If you think that the information provided does not meet your request, contact me on 020 7849 4622 or write to Louise Nadal, School Secretary, London School of Economics and Political Science, Houghton Street, London, WC2A 2AE. We will then review the response to your request and get back to you within 20 working days.
