Louise Perret Report

The request was successful.

Dear Home Office,

In a summary of a released report regarding the investigations into the allegations made by Louise Perret about her experience working for the UKBA, The Professional Standards Unit made several recommendations at the time.

One of the recommendations was that the UK Border Agency should consider engagement with the PCS concerning advice they gave to their members not to come forward with evidence for the investigation and to encourage full co-operation from Union representatives.

Under the Freedom of Information Act, please could you provide me with the following information;

All the correspondence, notes, or minutes of meetings that were had with the PCS regarding this matter.

Yours faithfully,

CA Purkis

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Louise Perret Report'.

Please note that I asked for the following;

All the correspondence, notes, or minutes of meetings that were had with the PCS regarding this matter.
I have only received what seems to be minutes of a meeting. There is reference to a letter in these minutes that I have not received. I specifically asked in line with public interest for ALL the documents related to this matter.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/l...

Handwritten notes as well.... They tend to 'forget' those.

Dear FOI Requests,

Further to my request as above - please provide all handwritten notes as well.

I'll have a stab at giving you and explanation, since they don't seem to be willing to treat your request with anything less than contempt.

Would it be Sheer Embarrassment?

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Louise Perret Report'.

Could you please tell me why I have not had a response to my request - this is the second time I have asked for a response. How you get away with ignoring uncomfortable requests is quite unbelievable. This is a public interest matter. Should I not get the required statutory response, I will be taking further action against your organisation.
