Lord Sainsbury's 'five strand plan'
Tom Harris made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
Dear Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy,
Please could you provide any and all information you hold on Lord Sainsbury's 'five strand' approach to dealing with Animal Rights Extremists (ARE), which was intended to 'solve the problem by the summer' of 2006?
The plan was discussed during the Ministerial Industry Strategy Group on 9 February 2006, as well as November 30th 2005, and at the “Stakeholder” group established by DTI and the Home Office.
