Further to our email of 2^nd September 2020, acknowledging your request
for information, we are currently processing your request under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000.  The 20 working day deadline, as outlined
by the Act, was  Wednesday 30^th September 2020 unfortunately we have been
unable to meet this deadline due to work loads.

 

As a result we would like to extend the deadline by 10 working days to

PACE BED ACCOMMODATION: Retained bed available 24 hours per day 7 days per
week 365 days per year. Bed to become active on request of the
Hertfordshire Constabulary to transfer under s38(6)PACE.  Active bed to
have waking member of staff at all times.

 

7.How many LAC aged 18 plus does the council currently place in semi
independent unregulated accommodation  

We do not use semi-independent services for young people post 18.  They
are referred to the Local Housing Authorities to bid for their own
tenancies.

 

8. Please provide the names of the providers of the semi independent
accommodation to LAC aged 18 plus.

We only support our young people up until their 18^th birthday unless in
exceptional circumstances whilst they are bidding for up to a maximum of 4
weeks.

 

9. Please provide the average cost per child per week per provider of semi
independent accommodation to LAC aged 18 plus.
