FOI, Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust

Dear Clare,

In response to your Freedom of Information request, please see the answers to your questions below. We apologise for the delay in responding to your request.

How many patients did the clinic treat for the period of 22nd of June to 21st of July 2021? - 103
- How many of these patients were not hospitalised with their acute Covid infection? This information is not held
- How many of these patients have been engaged with the clinic for longer than 12 weeks? All
- How many of these patients reported an inability to work or a significant reduction in working hours due to prolonging Covid symptoms? This information is not centrally recorded and would require a manual review of each individual record, Section 12 applied.
- How many of these patients are younger than 40? 30

The Trust has applied section 12 exemption to part of your requested as annotated. The information you have requested is not centrally recorded and would require a manual review of multiple areas of the Trust to collate the data. This manual review would require staff to work extra hours which would result in additional costs to the Trust. We have therefore applied the Section 12 exemption of the Freedom of Information Act which states that a public authority is not obliged to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying with the request would exceed the appropriate limit.

Should you have any questions, please contact me by email. If you are unhappy in any way regarding the manner in which your request has been handled, the Trust has an internal review procedure through which you can raise any concerns you might have.

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of the complaints procedure, you can apply to the Information Commissioner, who will consider whether the Trust has complied with its obligations under the FOIA, and can require the Trust to remedy any problems. You can find out more about how to do this, and about the FOIA in general, on the Information Commissioner’s website at: www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk .
Complaints to the Information Commissioner should be sent to:
FOI/EIR Complaints Resolution
Information Commissioner’s Office
Wycliffe House

Yours sincerely,
