I refer to your request for information, dated 25 August 2008, and can
respond as follows:

1 West Lancashire District Council has had one finding of
maladministration against it in the last 10 years;
2. the Council has not refused to accept any findings of
maladministration, either in full or in part, during the past 10 years;
3. there are no findings of maladminstration against this Council where
the Council has refused to comply, either in full or in part, with the
remedy recommended by the Local Government Ombudsman.

If you have any queries concerning the information provided, please do not

entitled to pursue any dissatisfaction through the Council's Complaints
