The decision was made to award the funding across three separate themes:

•            £277K - grants to organisations supplying food boxes and food
deliveries (including food banks);

•            £105k - financial hardship support and advice; and

•            £150k - individual awards to private citizens for emergency
food or energy vouchers.

It was decided that at the time of receiving the funding there was as yet
unknown potential unknown demand that could come out of changes to
furlough support and as such the grants and awards were made in two
tranches: autumn and winter.
