Dear Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport,
Please answer the following:-
1. Why has the Department dropped the requirement of radio stations to provide at least seven hours of locally made programmes per day?
2. What are the job and training implications of this decision for people who want to work as presenters, production staff, technicians and other roles within radio?
3. How many jobs and training opportunities are likely to be lost as a result of the decision?
4. Who made the decision to drop the "seven hour" requirement and when was the decision made?

Yours faithfully,

Rob Heale
