Liverpool FC's Champions League trophy parade June 2019

Merseyside Police did not have the information requested.

Dear Merseyside Police,

There are differing estimates in the public domain of the turnout for LFC's Champions League trophy parade last month. What is the official Merseyside Police's figure?

Yours faithfully,

Rob Jones

Freedom Of Information, Merseyside Police

Dear Mr Jones

Response Letter - FOI Application DM2019/0889 (please quote in all
correspondence)

I write in connection with your request for information which was received
by Merseyside Police on 08/07/2019.  I note that you seek access to the
following information:

(paraphrased) official Merseyside Police figure for the crowd turnout
during the Liverpool FC Champions League trophy parade in June 2019

Following receipt of your request searches were conducted within
Merseyside Police to locate information relevant to your request. I can
confirm that the information that you requested is not held by Merseyside
Police.

Merseyside Police did not organise the event and had no reason to
calculate any figures in relation to crowd attendance.  References have
been made by the Force in media statements to a crowd in the region of
750,000 people, however this was quoting a figure mentioned by Liverpool
City Council and was not an ‘official’ police estimate.

As there is no information held, there is no information to disclose.
