Please provide a list of all properties within your area which are currently classed as vacant for business rates purposes which have a rateable value of over £3,000.

Please provide the address of the property, a description (ie shop, office, factory etc), the contact details of whoever is responsible for the property (ie landlord/owner, tenant who has vacated but still has a lease in place etc).

If any of the above make it impossible for you to provide the information, please provide as much as you are able to.

Freedom of Information request relating to Vacant Business Premises

Further to your FOI request about Vacant Business Premises which was logged under FOI Ref No 04632, I am now in a position to provide a response to your request for information under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Please find attached the Council's business rates spreadsheet that is produced on a quarterly basis, this sheet was last produced at the end of March 2017. The in relation to empty properties can be obtained from this spreadsheet by filtering the data.

I hope this satisfies your query however if you are dissatisfied with this response you can have your complaint heard under the Council’s Complaints Procedure. To do this you will need to contact us within ten working days of receipt of this e-mail requesting a view of your request. Generally the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided by Eden District Council.
