Dear Information Rights,
Many thanks for your reply.

To answer your question I would like to know all the companies which entered into a CVA after 1 Jan 2016 irrespective of whether they are still in a CVA or not.

If I could have a note of their current status (specifically in CVA or not or in any other form of insolvency proceeding - Liquidation or Administration) that would be very helpful.

In terms of the list format ideally I'd like Company Name, Registered number and Registered office address if this is possible.

Yours sincerely,

Mr M R Blayney

Dear Information Rights,

Hi

Apologies for being a pain - I really should have thought more about the structure of the data I need when putting in the request.

The data I'd ideally like covers 4 topics:

1 - Company details - name / number / registered office
2 - CVA details - date started, current status (live / satisfied / failed?), supervisor
3 - Company business - description / SIC code
4 - If there is a subsequent insolvency process - liquidation / administration

Hope that makes sense / is OK.

Thanks for your help.

Yours sincerely,

Mr M R Blayney

Dear Mr M R Blayney

I refer to your email and your request for information which has been
considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).

You have requested the following:

Can you please provide a list (preferably in the form of an excel
spreadsheet or CSV file) of all companies which have entered into a CVA
with effect from 1 January 2016 irrespective of whether they are still in
a CVA or not and contain the following information:

1 - Company details - name / number / registered office

2 - CVA details - date started, current status (live / satisfied /
failed?), supervisor

3 - Company business - description / SIC code

4 - If there is a subsequent insolvency process - liquidation /
administration

Companies House (CH) is primarily a registry of company information which
it makes available to the public. The public register contains information
such as, whether a company has entered into Corporate Voluntary
Arrangement (CVA), but CH does not routinely collate this information.

The public register is available to you to search for the information you
require and therefore the information is exempt from disclosure under
section 21 FOIA as it accessible to you.

However, to be of assistance, our IT team has been able to retrieve the
attached spreadsheet .

This spreadsheet will provide you with details of the companies registered
at Companies House that have entered CVA between January 2016 and December
2019.

By filtering Columns, A, B, and J to O this will provide the Company
Name, Company Number and Registered office address.

Column S provides the insolvency effective date.

Column E gives the current status of the company as at 21 April 2020.

Columns F-I will provide you with the company SIC codes. If you require
the ‘Description/Nature’ of the business, you can identify this from the
Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes.  To assist you, the
following is a direct link to the SIC code list
[1]http://resources.companieshouse.gov.uk/s...

Column E combined with the insolvency end date provided in column T will
help you determine if there is a subsequent insolvency process.I have been
advised that any entries with the Insolvency end date of 31 Dec 9999,
would mean the case is still open.

Please note that the information provided in the attached spreadsheet
forms part of Companies House’s management information and is unaudited.
Therefore, it is subject to change and should be used for indicative
purposes only.

I trust that the information fully answers your Freedom of Information
enquiry, but if you have any queries about this email please contact me.
Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

As your request has been considered under the FOIA, we are required to
inform you that if you are dissatisfied with the result of your request
for information you may request an internal review within two calendar
months of the date of this email. The case will be reviewed by a senior
member of staff who has had no previous involvement in this case

If you are then not content with the outcome of the internal review, you
have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision.  Further information can be found at:
