Dear Wendy Kassamani,

Thank you for the response.
The information you cited
is not available in one consolidated document,
is not able to be read by screen reader
and apparently does not include the Newsagents or other premises.

The listing also you quoted also provides details for establishments no longer trading, therefore is not an accurate representation, or answer to my request as detailed in Ref: foi/114/10

Yours sincerely,

L Mandville

I have passed your response to the concerned department and asked if
there was an alternative version i.e. hardcopy, who have responded to
say:

"I'm afraid not. The licensing register is a statutory requirement and
it does include all licensed premises in Brighton & Hove (including
newsagents).

The licensing register is searchable using post codes and licenses
issued, surrendered etc.

We wouldn't have the information in an electronic document or hard copy
(there are over 1300 licensed premises in Brighton & Hove) and it would
take several officers days and days to prepare."

Thank you.

Dear Wendy Kassamani,

Just to clarify, we have requested the information from within a defined area, not the entire City of Brighton and Hove.

Yours sincerely,

Liam Mandville
