(Social/Affordable/Flexible etc).

Please note that Buckinghamshire Council does not own any social housing
stock.
Social housing is provided by various housing associations operating
across the county.
As background information, the former District Councils transferred their
housing stock as follows:
Area Transferred to: Date
Aylesbury Vale Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust July 2006
Chiltern Chiltern Hundreds Housing subsequently named 1988
Paradigm Housing
South Bucks Beacon Housing (which then merged with L&Q) 1991
Wycombe Red Kite December 2011
Please note that the above Housing Associations are completely separate
organisations from the Council i.e. they do not operate as an Arm’s Length
Management Organisation (ALMO) on behalf of the Council.

Dear Freedom of Information,
Thank you for your response to my request.
I am aware that Buckinghamshire Council does not own or manage any social housing stock, as outlined in your reply.
However, Buckinghamshire Council is a Local Housing Authority with homelessness responsibilities under the Housing Acts, and these responsibilities are discharged via the Bucks Home Choice scheme, in partnership with those social landlords which own local housing stock.
In June 2020, I requested under reference FOI 12711 similar information to that which I am now requesting, but relating to a past period (from 2018/19 up to the date of that request in June 2020). The reply was, ‘I can confirm that Buckinghamshire Council does hold information falling within the description specified in your request. Please find the relevant details attached.’ This provided in full the data which I had requested.
I am therefore requesting an internal review of your response.
I hope that you can reconsider this matter, and provide an update of the Bucks Home Choice scheme as requested.
With thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Paul Burnham
