Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Department for Communities and Local Government,
The Government announced in the 2016 Autumn Statement that it intended to ban Letting Agency Fees that are paid by Tenants and give Tenants more clarity about what they are paying. Please could you answer the following Freedom Of Information Questions related to this issue:-
1. What is the result of the D.C.L.G. Consultation?
2. What is happening as a result of that Consultation?
3. When will a ban on Letting Agency Fees/Administration Charges be introduced?
4. When will Private Tenants be given absolute clarity about the legality of charging these fees?
5. Are there plans to apply similar policies about the banning of administrative charges and arbitrary fees for Managing Agents for services to Long-Leasehold owners as well?

Yours faithfully,

Rob Heale
