Thank you for your recent request made under the Freedom of Information Act. Please find the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s response below.

1.The cost of design, production and preparation and the name of the company appointed

The design, production and preparation was undertaken by Project Centre in collaboration with Liverpool City Region and Wirral Borough Council. The costs for this work was part of the overall consultancy budget for the project. As advised in our 3rd September response to an earlier enquiry, the total cost of the consultancy contract was £336,431.02.

Both printing and distribution of the LCR Cycle Route early engagement leaflets in the Wirral project area was carried out by Direct Letterbox Marketing (https://www.directletterboxmarketing.co.uk), a nationwide leaflet print and distribution company. A total of 33,000 copies of the early engagement leaflet were printed to serve the Wirral project area. The costs for printing were £1,460.50. The leaflet distribution cost was £3,053.91.

See response above

4.The cost and name of the company that 'verified' the delivery

Following delivery, a third party, independent company, DBC Online, checked the level of recall for the Wirral leaflet. This was part of the service offered by DLM at no additional cost. Further information is available on the attached document.

Dear FOI CA,

Thank you for your response. The leaflet from DBC Online is a promotional leaflet for that company. May I please have the report they compiled into this particular project?

Yours sincerely,

Ian Lewis
