Dear Department for Education,

Can you please provide the latest up to date statistics for the percentage of pupils that are eligible for Free School Meals for the following three age groups: Reception to Year 2, Year 3 to Year 6, & Year 7 to Year 11.

Please can it be provided for the following ethnic categories:

01_White British
02_Irish
03_Traveller of Irish heritage
04_Any other white background
05_Gypsy/Roma
06_White and Black Carribean

The attached file shows the proportion of pupils who were known to be
eligible for and claiming Free Schools Meals by their recorded ethnicity,
broken down by Year groups in the January 2017 school census covering
England.

We will publish data from the January 2018 school census on 28 June 2018.
