Information, Southampton City Council

Dear Mr Galton,

Thank you for your request for information below.

As you are requesting your own personal details, I need to ensure that you
understand that, any response to your request under the terms of the
Freedom of information Act 2000 would be an open disclosure to the world.
This means that anyone could request this information, and I must note
that we would be unable to redact the personal details as these are the
focus of your request. Also, as you have used the “WhatDoTheyKnow.com”
website to make this request, any response to this request will be
published online.

If this is not your satisfaction, then I can confirm that the Council may
deal with this as a Subject Access request, made through the Data
Protection Act 1998. This would, however, require provision of a new email
address, copies of your identification and a £10.00 processing fee
required for this type of request.

As such, I wonder if you could confirm your preference regarding this
request?

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me
using the details below.

Regards,

Dear Mr Matterson,

I can confirm I would rather do this via a subject access request, so I am withdrawing the FOI request for Labour Councillors discussing Steven Galton.

The website removes your reply email so if possible can you email steve (at) stevengalton (dot) com with the details for me to use, or alternatively provide this information to Cllr Jeremy Moulton to forward on to me.

Yours sincerely,

Steven Galton
